古籍电子化产品的用字问题

古籍电子化是一个非常复杂的跨学科问题。网上《千字文》中的种种错别字现象，反映出当前古籍电子化产品用字问题的严重性。必须引起高度重视，认真分析原因，采取相应措施。应遵守国家现有的语文政策，建立健全必要的规章制度，科学管理，千方百计，努力提高古籍电子化产品的用字水平，使国家通用语言文字在社会生活中更好地发挥作用。     

木材及其产品进口与生态环境保护

我国已成为世界第二大木材进口国,大量进口木材不仅会对木材供应国的环境承受力产生影响,而且还会影响到我国在世界可持续发展中的环境形象。森林作为整个陆地生态系统的主体在人类的可持续发展中起着至关重要的作用。而我国木材的进口规模和水平、以及能否实现以可持续发展为基础的林产品贸易不仅与世界森林资源的开发与利用息息相关,而且与全球的生态承受力紧密相连。本文通过探讨木材贸易与环境保护的关系,分析木材贸易的环境影响,并提出了为促进木材贸易与环境保护的协调发展应采取的措施。     

Impact of Online Reviews on Consumer’s Hotel Booking Intentions: Does Brand Image Mediate?

Abstract

The recent trend suggests that people are more inclined to online hotel reviews to take online hotel booking decisions. The present study argues that when consumers are exposed to online hotel reviews, it draws an impression of the hotel brand in the mind of consumers, resulting in influence their hotel booking intentions. The current study determines the mediation effects of brand image between credible online hotel reviews and consumers’ hotel booking intentions. To ascertain the uni-dimensionality of the scales, the present study executes exploratory factor analysis. The ensure the internal consistency of the variable scales, the study determines Cronbach’s alpha. To measure the mediation effects, the present study performs structural equation modeling bootstrapping method. Data analysis reveals that marketers should look at hedonic brand image, which ultimately influences consumers’ hotel booking intentions. This is a unique study that ascertains the type of brand image that actually mediates between the impact of online hotel reviews and consumers’ hotel booking intentions. In addition, the paper furnishes theoretical background on how people interpret online hotel reviews and its effects.

Adoption Dynamics in Buyer-Side Exchanges

The purpose of this paper is to understand buyer/seller adoption dynamics in independent, buyer-side B2B exchanges. In a stylized model, we assume that the main role of the exchange is to reduce search costs for buyers. Buyers and sellers enter or exit the exchange based on the relative economic surplus (loss) they receive inside vs. outside the exchange. We contrast two situations: one where participants' switching cost to join the institution is negligible and another, in which it is significant. In an extension, we also explore the impact of buyer/seller heterogeneity on adoption dynamics. We have three key findings with relevant implications for practice. First, we find that the general view that demand and supply (so-called liquidity) either grows or shrinks in the marketplace may not hold. In the presence of switching costs, the exchange can evolve to a stable state with only partial market participation. Second, our results suggest that the exchange is better off subsidizing buyers as opposed to sellers in order to achieve the so-called critical mass, beyond which there is full participation. Finally, we find that while in general, minor buyers of the industry have more incentive joining the exchange, when the fixed participation fee of the exchange is high, it is major buyers who are likely to join first. For sellers, this is not the case: minor sellers are always more keen in participating in a buyer-side exchange.     

Equity market data, bank failures and market efficiency

The paper examines the informational content of market data for long-term horizons in models, which predict bank failure. Univariate results document patterns such as declining prices, negative returns, declining dividends, and rising return volatility, up to 4 years before failure. Multivariate analysis shows that market information improves the failure predictive content of traditional models, which are based on accounting data. Out-of-sample predictions show that the use of stock market data does improve the forecast of bank failure. Furthermore, the persistence of this contribution generally increases with greater distances from the date of failure documenting the forward-looking nature of financial markets.

本文从介绍政府间税权配置的基本原则及中央与地方政府间税权配置的基本模式出发,认为目前我国中央与地方政府间在税权配置上仍存在着许多问题。为了更好地实现政府间“事权与财权”的相对统一,有必要对我国中央与地方政府间的税权配置做进一步的改进。     

The temporal nature of growth determinants in new bank foundings: implications for new venture research design

Several authors have suggested the founding period as a critical time in the development of a firm, arguing that the resource and decision choices made at this point have a substantive impact on the firm's future. Yet, historically, most studies have measured new venture choices considerably after the founding period. We suggest that the uniqueness of the founding event is important and test its validity through the examination of two implicit assertions. These implicit assertions are those of temporal stability and temporal locus of growth determinants.     

基于演化博弈的城市拆迁补偿机制研究

房屋动拆迁是我国城市建设与旧城改造中的重要环节,也是当前社会普遍关注的焦点。房屋动拆迁问题产生的重要原因在于补偿机制的不合理。本文引入演化博弈理论,建立城市拆迁补偿的演化博弈模型,分析不同收益值情况下的演化稳定策略,并针对当前拆迁补偿机制存在的漏洞,提出完善我国城市房屋拆迁补偿机制的政策建议。
